Pressing Community Issues to be Discussed in Upcoming Conference
The Binghamton Community Advocates Project Empowerment Conference and the United Way of Broome County are hosting a conference this month to address a list of social issues facing the community.
The Empower Yourself, Empower Your Community conference is being held Sunday, June 23 at the Holiday Inn in Downtown Binghamton from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
Topics to be discussed include Literacy and Entrepreneurship, Homeownership, Wellness, Food Insecurity, Budgeting, Mental Health, Wellness and Self Care, Social Justice and Networking.
