Newark Valley Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash

Tioga County Sheriff's officials say the investigation is continuing into a motorcycle crash June 4 that claimed the life of the biker. 

Authorities say 42-year-old Carl Hoaglin, Jr. was alone on the motorcycle, traveling west on East Berkshire Road in the Town of Berkshire shortly at 7:56 a.m. when the vehicle crashed.

Investigators have not said what they believe caused the fatal crash.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Tioga County Sheriff's Office at (607) 687-1010.

Tioga County Sheriff's Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Berkshire and Richford Fire Departments.
