According to the Village of Endicott Water Department webpage, two water main breaks were being dealt with in the Village January 22: one on the 1600 block of Riverview Drive and another on the 800 block of Hill Avenue.  Residents in those areas were advised to run the cold tap to clear discolored water.

January 20, a broken water main behind Saint James Church and School on Helen Drive at Lester Avenue in Johnson City sent a geyser of water shooting up in the air in the early morning hours and kept Village water department crews busy in frigid temperatures isolating and fixing the break.
