An iconic Johnson City pizzeria is expected to be back in business after a report of a fire in a roof-vent January 16.

Firefighters climbed to the roof of Brozzetti’s Pizza for a report of a small chimney fire between 3 and 4 in the afternoon.  The business remained closed at dinner time.

There were no injuries.

The small pizza shop has been a fixture at the corner of Baldwin Street and Corliss Avenue since it opened in 1949 and is frequented by not only residents but many staff working at neighboring Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center.
