The Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier is holding two first aid training courses.

Mental Health First Aid training will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 22 at the MHAST offices on Court Street to provide the public with skills to help people who are developing a mental health problem or experiencing a crisis.

The Youth Mental Health First Aid training will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 24.

Funds raised by the Do It For Darrin project and Rock Against Suicide have reduced the fee to $25 per person.

Participants must attend the entire class to get a 3 year certification.
