Mandy Moore may forgive, but she doesn't forget.

Appearing on The Howard Stern Show on Wednesday (June 6), the pop star-turned-actress opened up about her ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama's braggadocious 2006 claim that he took her virginity when they dated as teens, calling the comments "uncharacteristic."

When the radio host asked her to set the record straight on the rumor, Moore made is clear that "he did not" take her virginity.

"I dated him when I was 16-17," she told Stern. "I love him and I still love him and he's a very good friend and that's why I was so shocked by it. Not only was it a fib, but it was so unlike him, so uncharacteristic. He's dated all the ladies. I met him at a photo shoot for some teen magazine when I was 15. [I had never even] French kissed a boy! He was like my first true boyfriend."

Moore added that she was "bummed" by the actor's cocky statement. "My dad especially was like, 'What? I liked that young man,'" she lamented.

Fortunately, the two have since moved past the awkwardness. As Moore shared, "We're not that close, but we're friendly. We have some mutual friends. He came to my house a couple months ago, he had some friends over. He's a good guy, he really is."

"I remember in the moment he tried to explain it away that he did get caught up and maybe insinuated more than outright said it and I said, 'No, you outright said it,'" she added. "I was like, 'Why would you ever talk about that with anybody and lie about it?' We don't talk about it now."

During an interview with Stern in 2006, Valderrama bragged that he had "snatched" the then-teen pop idol's virginity, claiming that sex with the actress was "really good."
