Binghamton police have arrested a suspect in connection with the daytime shooting of a city man in a West Side parking lot.

Authorities say 31-year-old Victor Texidor of Binghamton sustained several gunshot wounds in the attack around 11:20 a.m. Tuesday.

Texidor was gunned down outside a two-story 12-unit apartment complex at 58 Floral Avenue. He was taken by ambulance to Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Investigators say 28-year-old Justin Williams of Greenville, North Carolina has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the killing.

Williams was one of three men in a Honda Accord with North Carolina license plates that was seen leaving Floral Avenue just after the shooting.

The vehicle was spotted by a Pennsylvania State Police trooper traveling south on Interstate 81 in Susquehanna County. The car was pulled over near the Gibson exit following a short pursuit.

In addition to murder, Williams has been charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned in Binghamton City Court and sent to Broome County Jail.

Detectives have recovered a 9mm "ghost gun" and a 9mm Smith and Wesson handgun believed to have been used in the shooting.

Investigators found 16 9mm shell casing in the apartment complex parking lot. They said the killing was "related to a domestic dispute" but they did not elaborate.

Police have not said whether the two other men who were in the getaway car will face charges.
