Summer is over and the temperatures are coming down. Do you know what is also coming down? Gas prices. They aren't coming down a lot and NOWHERE NEAR the price from a year ago or the price that we would like them to be at.

The lowest gas prices in our area used to be in Whitney Point. If I knew that I was going that way any time soon, I would let the gas tank get as low as I dared let it go. That changed a few years ago and the prices in that area, I pretty much the same as everywhere else.

So where are the lowest prices in Broome County? I don't really want to say because I go there all the time. If I'm passing through and my tank is under a half, I stop in and fill it up. So if I tell you where it is, then the line will be longer and I'll have to wait and be patient.

In the words of my daughter, Tara, "patience takes too long."  She doesn't live by those words but she has said it before. According to Gas Buddy, here are best prices for gas in Broome County.
