Raise your hand if this is you...

You are frantically searching for a last-minute gift to give this Christmas. Maybe you procrastinated. Maybe you were waiting for a paycheck to drop in your account. Maybe you have that one person that year in and year out you struggle to think of a good gift for them.

Trust me, I'm there this year too. However, we're going to give you some last-minute ideas that you can use to remedy that situation.

Hot Cocoa Ornament

Here's a really interesting one we stumbled across. All you need is a clear bulb ornament, and then fill it up with hot cocoa mix that you can customize by adding crushed candy canes, marshmallows, and more.

A few years ago I got hot cocoa mix (not in an ornament, but still), and it was a really delicious present that I was able to enjoy over and over.

Not only that, but once it's gone, they will have a brand-new addition to their ornament collection.

Box Subscription

Great content and versatile. Those are the big upsides of these types of gifts.

It's pretty simple: You pay a subscription fee either monthly or quarterly, and you get a box of goodies on a particular topic, with the total value of the items usually being substantially more than what you pay.

And there loads of different boxes out there to fit anyone's interests. Just to name a few: Dollar Shave Club, Stitch Fix, Gentleman's Box, Ipsy, Hello Fresh, Bark Box, Loot Crate, Mantry... the list goes on and on.

Movie Tickets

I know one of the things that stops me from seeing most movies in theaters is the cost.

The price of going to the movies has increased dramatically over the years, which is a shame because one of my fondest childhood memories is going to the movies with my family on Christmas Day.

Why not grab a couple movie tickets to go see the new Star Wars movie?

Date Night Kit

This is another one that has been given to me, and is both a nice gesture and easy to put together.

If you know a couple, find out what type of movies they like. Then buy a movie you think they'll enjoy, a bunch of candy, and a load of popcorn.

Put all that in a basket to dress it up a little, and you've just help them come up with date night plans!

Gift Cards

Ahh gift cards... you've become one of those things that I've come to appreciate with age.

Do you remember when you were a kid and you tore into that big present in the corner like a lion ripping open a freshly killed zebra, only to find out that the present a relative spent their time and money on was akin to Ralphie's bunny pajamas?

Avoid that situation altogether. If you know what type of things they like, go with a gift card, and let them pick out what they want.

It may seem like a cop-out, but that's much better than getting something they hate.

Merry Christmas everyone! We hope you get what you want, and that you only have to wear that bunny costume when Aunt Clara comes to visit...
