Lalor Family Dental, a family-owned dental practice located in Broome County, will be hosting its 14th annual day of free dentistry for community members in need.

On Saturday, April 27, Lalor Family Dental will provide complimentary dental care services including cleanings, fillings, and extractions to at least 250 people. The event will be held at their Main Office on Vestal Parkway West in Vestal.

Open Registration for the Event

Registration for the event will open at 7:30 a.m. and run until 9:30 a.m. Patients will be seen on a first come, first served basis starting at 8:00 a.m. The event is open to the entire community and people of all ages are encouraged to attend.

Continuing a Tradition of Compassion

The tradition of offering Free Dental Care Day was started by Dr. Robert T. Lalor, known as "Doc," who founded the practice with a strong compassion for his patients and the community. Dr. Robert A. Lalor, Doc's son and the current owner, continues this tradition along with his wife, Dr. Mary John.

A Generous Event to Help Those in Need

In addition to the annual event, Lalor Family Dental has initiated the Rachel Project, in honor of their team member Rachel Mauger, who organized the event for 11 years before her passing. The Rachel Project encourages organ donation through Donate Life, and more information can be found on the Lalor Family Dental website.

During their most recent Free Dental Care Day in April 2023, Lalor Family Dental provided over $50,000 worth of free dentistry to 289 individuals. They are excited to once again offer this opportunity to help those in need.
