Last week I walked into Sam's Club in Vestal and I noticed that directly behind their Halloween decorations and candy, there was a row of Christmas decorations. Yes Christmas decorations are already in stores. I saw a giant nutcracker, lights, electric ornaments, and more.

We are still just shy of a month-and-a-half away from Halloween, just about two and a half months away from Thanksgiving, and that means we are three and a half months away from Christmas. One of my friends was bragging on Facebook two weeks ago that he had already bought his wife her first Christmas present.

If you think it's too early for stores to start selling Christmas stuff, you're not alone. According to a new survey conducted by YouGov, 75% of people said it's way too early for a Christmas items to start appearing in stores, while 19% said it's not too early and 6% where not sure.

And speaking of Christmas stuff hitting store shelves, Nabisco will be selling Christmas themed Oreos soon. A lot of families with young children have a tradition in which they make a gingerbread house. This year, they can skip that and just get some gingerbread Oreo cookies.

Delish announced today that Oreos are bringing back their gingerbread cookies for Christmas this year and they will be hitting stores in the next few weeks. They were first released and 2012 and Nabisco has sold them a couple of times since, but it's been years since the gingerbread cookies have been part of the Oreo lineup.

It seems like every year Christmas decorations pop up sooner and sooner. And the way 2020 has been going, I'm okay getting in the Christmas mood early this year.
