October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, so it's a popular time for women to schedule their mammograms.

And while you can get your first mammogram any time of the year, of course, I wound up getting my first one done earlier today.

And, I'm happy to report my results were good! I'm set for another year. But I'm glad I knew a few things first before going into it.
