Cortland Teens Arrested in Car Parked in the Middle of the Road
Cortland County Sheriff’s officials say a Cortland teenager tried to give them a fake name when they checked on a vehicle parked in the middle of Clute Road in Cortlandville at 4:13 a.m. July 15.
The driver, 18 year old Brock Granger was found in possession of drugs, driving without a license while another 18 year old, passenger Donavin Fink of Cortland also tried to give a fake name and had drugs in his possession.
Deputies say Granger is charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, criminal possession of a controlled substance, endangering the welfare of a child, criminal impersonation, parked on pavement and unlicensed operation.
Fink is charged with drug possession, criminal impersonation and endangering the welfare of a child.
Granger was sent to the Cortland County Jail on $3,000 bail while bail for Fink was set at $5,000.
There were other passengers under the age of 18 in the vehicle. Their names are not being released. They were turned over to adults.
