Sidney Center Man Injured in Masonville Crash

A 20 year old from Sidney Center is recovering from injuries suffered in a one-vehicle crash on Richardson Hill Road in the Town of Masonville July 13.

Delaware County Sheriff’s Officials say Holden Smith was found lying on the shoulder of the road with a broken leg and the car down an embankment, crashed head-on into a tree.

Smith is believed to have taken prescription drugs prior to the 5:59 p.m. crash.

Deputies say Smith was transported to Wilson Hospital in Johnson City for treatment of his injuries.

The investigation is continuing and authorities say charges are pending.
