Britney Spears Announces First-Ever Hong Kong Show in June
The Holy Spearit giveth, and she taketh away.
Following official confirmation from management that Britney's four year-long Piece Of Me Las Vegas residency will be coming to a close in December (for now, anyway), the Princess of Pop™ just announced yet another date to add to her growing itinerary of Internationalney shows this summer.
"Performing in Hong Kong on June 27 💫 Tickets go on sale April 25!" she wrote on Twitter just before midnight (Apr. 9).
The concert will be held at the AsiaWorld-Expo, the largest indoor seated performance venue in Hong Kong. (Madonna also brought her Rebel Heart Tour to the 14,000 seat-capacity venue last year.)
It's also Britney's first-ever concert in Hong Kong, making this string of shows extra special for overseas fans who may not have had the opportunity to make the trek to the Las Vegas strip. For ticket information, head to Live Nation Lushington.
As previously announced, B-Girl is jetting abroad to perform in the Philippines, Israel and Japan this summer too. Let's just hope no helicopters are needed — and that there are no elections scheduled in Hong Kong that day.
