Binghamton Police Investigate Shots Fired on East Side
City of Binghamton Police are investigation a shooting incident that has sent one man to jail.
Officers responded to a home at 11 Andrews Avenue, just north of the intersection with Robinson Street on the City's East Side at around 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 22 with a report of shots fired.
Police say they determined that no one was hurt during the gunfire at the home.
Investigators say 59-year-old Paul Terry is accused of firing a handgun at one a man as he and two others, who all know each other, got into an altercation.
Police recovered a loaded .9 millimeter handgun in their search of the home.
Terry is charged with two felony counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon. He was sent to the Broome County Correctional Facility following his arraignment.
