Binghamton Police Hold Open House for Prospective New Recruits

In their search for new recruits, the Binghamton Police Department is holding an open house.

The deadline for applying for a position on the police force is 4:45 p.m. July 13.

The Open House is being held July 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Binghamton Police Classroom at City Hall on Hawley Street downtown.

Police officers and representatives from the Personnel Office will be on hand.

Exam applications will be accepted on-site from those interested.  The application fee is $25, payable by check or money order.  The exam date is September 15.
