The Zooperstars visited NYSEG Stadium Sunday afternoon for the Rumble Ponies versus Hartford Yard Goats game.  As they often do they were a big hit with fans, umpires and players interacting with the various ZOOperstar characters.

Featured were inflatable on-field characters like Bear Bonds, Harry Canary and Clammy Sosa and the one that fans reacted to the loudest Tim Tebull.  Tebull is designed after Tim Tebow who is now drawing big crowds as a member of St. Lucie's Class A team.  Tebow, a star college quarterback and former NFL quarterback, is pursuing a professional baseball career and someday could see duty in Binghamton.

The Zooperstars were created in 1998 by brothers Dominic and Brennan Latkovski.  Dominic was the mascot for the Louisville Redbirds and was joined in his on-field antics by his brother Brennan.  As their popularity continued to rise they went off on their own and formed their own company which now presents one of the most popular acts in baseball and other sports today.

ZOOperstars has over 40 characters and travels around the country entertaining baseball fans at various ballparks.  They also appear at numerous other sports events and venues including basketball and hockey.  Much of their act is on the field between innings but the characters also mingle with the fans and pose for pictures throughout the game.
