If you haven't heard, Binghamton has been placed in the COVID-19 "Yellow Zone." and you can see what that means here. Because of everything that is happening in our area, The Broome County Humane Society has put out the following statement:

"In an effort to do our part in the community, and help lessen the spread of COVID, the Broome County Humane Society will be temporarily CLOSED to all walk-in traffic until further notice. Vistors and serious adopters will be allowed by APPOINTMENT ONLY.

To make an appointment please call 60-724-3709. Please allow up to two business days for a call back."

So what does that mean for their Bi-Annual Rummage Sale this Saturday at the American Legion Post 80 in Binghamton? Because of the recent rise in COVID cases, they have decided to POSTPONE the Fall Rummage Sale until November.

They feel that to hold an event like this at this time would not be the responsible thing to do. They are asking you to hold on to your stuff and they will be announcing a new date ASAP. We'll let you know as soon as we find out too.

Here's some good news, as of now, their 2020 Fall  Bowl-a-Rama on Saturday, October 17th at Midway Lanes is still on. Here's a chance to get your family and friends together to help our furry friends. Go here to get more info and to register.
