Waverly Man Accused in Razor Slashing

A Waverly man is accused of slashing a man in the face with a razor blade.

Village Police arrested 23 year old Justin Vanburen June 1 at a Chemung Street apartment at 10:45 a.m. and charged him with felony assault and misdemeanor menacing and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the incident on Broad Street May 26^th.

Vanburen was sent to the Tioga County Jail on $40,000 bail.

The victim suffered a minor injury to the chin.
