WANTED: Ugly People to Appear in ‘Lord of the Rings’ TV Show

The Lord of the Rings is looking for actors to play monsters. According to the Daily Mail, they want people that look like an orc. They say they want people with missing teeth, lots of body hair, and wrinkles to apply to be extras and the upcoming Lord of the Rings TV show.

Other features they are looking for are people under 5 feet tall or over six and a half feet with character faces and as they put it, "wonderful noses". Redheads and people with white hair are also wanted in all shapes and sizes.

According to the report, not only will you be fed, but extras in New Zealand are paid 148 pounds.That's just under 195 U.S. dollars. I don't know if that's per day and if you would be working more than one day. Amazon bought the rights for the upcoming series by spending 190 million pounds. That's a quarter of a billion and U.S. money.

According to the report they need more than 20,000 extras to be part of the show. So if you're a fan of the show and you think you're ugly, or could be made ugly with very little makeup, you can apply to be part of the show.

The new show will begin filming in 2020.
