Vestal Purse Snatching is Not Believed to be Random

Vestal Police say a robbery at a home on Imperial Woods Drive at around 3 p.m. December 9 is not believed to be a random act.

A man wearing a mask reportedly approached a woman in her garage and stole her purse after a brief struggle.

The man stood about 5’7” to 5’7” tall and was wearing black pants, a blue coat, black ski mask and gloves at the time.

The man was last seen running north on Airborne Avenue toward the Vestal Parkway.
