Use This Calculator to Find Out How Much Your Third Stimulus Check Will Be
A third round of stimulus checks may soon be on the way.
The $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan is one step closer to landing on President Biden's desk for his final signature. The bill passed the Senate Saturday, March 6th after several amendments. It now heads to the House for a final vote before heading to the President for his signature.
If President Biden signs the legislation by mid-March, we should start seeing checks by the end of the month.
How much will the third round of stimulus checks be? The more you earn, the less you get. Every American with an Social Security Number that earns $75,000 a year or less is eligible to receive $1,400 plus $1,400 per dependent. If you earn more, your total payment will be reduce. Anyone earning $80,000 or more would not receive a check, regardless of number of dependents.
If you want to find out how much you'll receive, you can use the Stimulus Check Calculator from Omni Calculator.
How it Works:
-You need to have filed your tax return in 2019 or 2020. Your most recent tax return will be used for the relief check calculation.
-Pick your filing status - either single, married, or head of household (applicable in the case of single parents or families with single earners, for instance).
-Input the number of dependents of any age. Unlike the CARES Act, all dependents claimed on your last tax form (2019 or 2020) will qualify as a dependent.
-Input your AGI (adjusted gross income) - you can find it on your tax form.
