Twin Tiers Honor Flight Postpones Washington, D.C. Trip
Due to concerns over possible exposure to illness, the leadership and Boards of the Honor Flight Network and the Twin Tiers Honor Flight have made the difficult decision to postpone their previously planned Mission 10 trip on April 18 with Twin Tiers area veterans to Washington, D.C.
Twin Tiers Honor Flight is a non-profit charitable organization and was created with the sole purpose of honoring America's veterans for their sacrifices. Twin Tiers Honor Flight transports veterans from the Southern Tier of New York and from Northeast Pennsylvania, free of charge, to Washington, D.C. so that they can visit and reflect at their memorials.
A Mission 10 flight will still take place, just at a later date and once any threat of illness has passed. Anyone who was scheduled to be part of Mission 10 will be contacted by Twin Tiers Honor Flight with information regarding the date of the future flight once all of those details have been sorted out.
Twin Tiers Honor Flight is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) charity and registered with the charities bureaus of New York State (Registration: 44-32-54) and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (Registration: 105768). Twin Tiers Honor Flight is an all-volunteer organization and operate solely on tax deductible donations.
