After teaming up with Martin Garrix in 2017 for the song "There for You," Troye Sivan is ready to kick off 2018 with new music.

On Friday (Jan. 5), Sivan shared an image of a Spotify billboard in Times Square that features his face and the words "6 days." In the photo's caption on Instagram, the 22-year-old singer wrote, "YES @SPOTIFY 6 DAYS y'all ready or what."

While Sivan hasn't explicitly said a new song is on the way, a series of social media posts hint at a new single. Just a day before his latest Instagram post, the singer shared a cryptic video with the word "my" flickering. Whatever the song ends up being titled, be sure to check back on Jan. 11 for Troye's reveal.

In April, Sivan was honored at the GLAAD Media Awards with the Stephen F. Kolzak Award. The youngest individual to receive such an honor, Sivan said at the time, "This award is so much larger than me."

He added, "This moment is about visibility and about representation. What and who we see in the media defines our perception of the world around us, and so to see ourselves in this picture of what is ‘normal’ and what is acceptable and what is beautiful is absolutely vital. In saying that, so much of the work that has contributed to our progress as a community is far less glamorous than the work that I’m being honored for tonight."

The award is given to an openly LGBT member of the entertainment or media community for their work toward eliminating homophobia.
