Towanda Man Accused of Leaving Injured Woman in His Burning Car
Pennsylvania State Police are looking for a Towanda man who is accused of leaving his injured passenger in a burning vehicle that crashed on Grandma Hill Road in Bradford County at 9:28 p.m. on June 16th.
Authorities say 24 year old Ryan Allis allegedly fled the scene following the crash that sent 24 year old Haylee Bastion of Laceyville to the hospital.
Troopers say Allis had been driving a Nissan Altima on Kingsley Hill road when he failed to negotiate a curve, left the road and went down an embankment. The car overturned and caught fire after hitting a tree head-on.
Allis allegedly fled on foot, leaving Bastion, injured, in the burning vehicle. She as pulled from the car by fire personnel and taken to Towanda Memorial Hospital.
Anyone with information on Allis’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda.
