Two men are in custody in connection with burglaries at seasonal properties in Chenango County and New York State Police are looking for people who may not yet have reported break-ins.

28 year olds Steven Barrows and Zackery England, both of Sidney, are charged with burglary and conspiracy in connection with break-ins on Junction Road in Guilford and Puckerville Road in Oxford.

Barrows is also charged with petit larceny while England is additionally charged with attempted burglary.

Troopers say they initially got a report of an attempted burglary on Junction Road in the Town of Guilford with a description of a dirty Dodge Ram pickup truck involved.

The truck was found at the Speedway gas station and convenience store on State Highway 7 in Unadilla along with the two men.

Meanwhile, authorities say they found 30 year old Nichole Bell of Oneonta with England and Barrows.  She’s accused of giving a false name and was in possession of two realistic looking b-b guns, methamphetamine, heroin and brass knuckles.  Bell is charged with false personation, criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a weapon and unlawfully possessing a noxious material. Troopers say they discovered she was wanted as a fugitive from justice on a warrant from the state of Georgia.

Authorities say additional charges are expected.

Barrows was sent to the Chenango County Jail without bail while bail for England was set at $15,000.

Bell was sent to the Otesgo County Jail without bail.

The investigation is continuing as authorities look into other properties that may have been burglarized.
