Tanya’s Trip To Buttermilk Falls In Ithaca New York

Yesterday the kids and I (and Bentley!) decided to go hiking at Buttermilk Falls in Ithaca. We love going there and yesterday was THE perfect day for a hike up the gorge! It was such a beautiful day and it wasn't too hot, wasn't too cold. We really enjoyed our day in the park and if you've never been you have to plan a day trip.

In the summertime there is an area you can actually swim and also a picnic area. So if you are a big swimmer, I would recommend going before Labor Day to take a dip.

After our hike we went down to The Commons and had dinner at Viva Taqueria, a Mexican restaurant and it was GREAT. We wanted to sit outside but when we got there the tables  were in the shade because the sun was going down and it was just a little too chilly so we ate inside.
