Tanya Wrecks Her Car

Yesterday was a typical morning. I got up and took Bentley for a little walk. It was around 4:30am when we were walking outside and I heard hunters off in the distance, shooting, which I thought was weird because it was still dark and I thought hunters had to wait till sunrise, but what do I know?!?! So I leave my house and start heading down the parkway, when out of nowhere a deer came running across the road. She hit the front driver's side and then went under my car. I felt horrible! I've never hit and killed an animal before. I actually have never been in a bad accident like that before. So I called Louie G to tell him I wasn't going to at work and I told him I didn't know what to do. He told me to call 911, which I was afraid to do because I didn't know if this qualified as an emergency and he laughed at me and told me it did. Officer Atkinson showed up and was so kind and helpful. It looks like the car is going to be totaled, so I now have the utter joy of buying a new car, I think I'd rather go to the dentist! But I'm glad no one got hurt. Not the best way to start the morning! Here's a picture I took of the car but really the picture doesn't do the damage justice, but it was still dark and I didn't want to stand on the parkway taking pictures! Notice the big hole above the tire.
