Broome County CHOW

To say that we are thrilled with the amount of non-perishable food and monetary donations over the 8-day food drive, would be an understatement.

It was a busy day in the parking lot of the Weis Food Market, 1290 Upper Front Street, Binghamton.

Thursday, November 2nd was the 4th day of our annual Food-A-Bago food drive, and it was another good day.

The inclement weather didn't deter people from stopping by to drop off non-perishable foods and monetary donations to go toward heling families in need in our communities.

After just two days, we are really happy to see how well non-perishable food and monetary donations have come in so far.

If my memory is still in tact, I believe this the the best Monday we've had in the 23 years of the Food-A-Bago food drive for Broome County CHOW.

For every dollar donated, Broome County CHOW is able to put together FIVE meals to distribute to local families. That is amazing!

So many people stop by not just to drop off a food item or monetary donation, but to tell us how much it means to them.

The steady traffic of vehicles stopping by our 2022 Food-A-Bago Food Drive for  Broome County CHOW was very encouraging on Thursday, November 3rd, our 4th day of the food drive. And for that, we thank you. To be able to help a person or a family in need at this time of year to put food on their table is such a selfless act. And...

For every $1.00 you donate, CHOW is able to work with partnering agencies to turn that into five complete meals, so a dollar definitely stretches.
