No final weeks of learning in the building they have been in for many years. No hanging out with school friends one last time, no sporting events to be a part of, or participate in. No prom. No traditional graduation services. That's the reality of a 2020 high school senior.

Who would have ever thought this would be any sort of a reality? On the upside, there are some school districts doing their best to honor their seniors. A couple of districts in Cincinnati are renting out a drive-in theater for graduation for the seniors and their families.

Others are placing signs in the front lawn of their seniors. I've noticed that happening in our community. The staff at Susquehanna Valley High School is also doing something special for their senior class of 2020.

They hung banners that feature names and images of their seniors on a fence that is just outside Susquehanna Valley High School on Conklin Road in Conklin. The staff and administrators hung the banners up last week as a tribute to the 2020 SV senior class. What an awesome idea! Check out a few of the pictures, and take a drive on Conklin Road and see for yourself.
