Pennsylvania State Police say a suspect in the death of an Oakland Township man is in custody after a lengthy manhunt.

Troopers say 22 year old Quentin Millard of New Milford was arrested near his home on Highlands Road at around 6:15 p.m. September 5 in connection with the death of 52 year old John Amrein.

According to authorities, Amrien left the home he shared with girlfriend, 37 year old Rachel Ayres Monday morning to buy items at a market in Hallstead for his birthday breakfast but didn't return and didn't show up for work at Federal Express in Conklin.

Investigators say it appears Amrien went to the home of another woman, Andrea Martel, with whom he was allegedly having an affair.  Police say Martel, who also works for FedEx, told them she revealed to Amrien she was pregnant and he may be the father.  When the pair fought, Martel said she contacted Quentin Millard for assistance.  During the course of several confrontations at the home, Amrien and Millard both reportedly suffered gunshot wounds.  Martel told police Amrein died after being hit in the head with an object.  The Great Bend woman then told detectives she and Millard placed Amrien's body in a garbage bag, took it to a wooded area of Highlands Road and started to dig a hole.  Martel said she left the scene as Millard told her he would finish and she didn't know where the body was.

Martel and Millard are charged with homicide and abuse of a corpse.  The investigation is continuing.
