Sam Elliott Stuns With Monologue of “Old Town Road” in Doritos Super Bowl Ad

When we think of the very most distinguishable voices, right to the top of our mind comes the names James Earl Jones, Samuel L. Jackson, and of course, Sam Elliott.

With a deep, resonant voice, and husky Western drawl, Sam Eliott has the kind of voice that makes people stop in their tracks when he speaks and we have Sam's stubbornness to thank for that.  According to Country Magazine, many years ago Sam met with an acting rep who detested his voice and told him that if he wanted to make a name for himself in Hollywood, he would need to do something about it. Thankfully for us, Sam refused to and this is why today, we have the opportunity to listen to a popular song in monologue form, spoken by one of the greatest voices of all time.

Doritos has snagged Sam Elliott for their 2020 Super Bowl ad and have dangled a carrot in front of us as to what we can expect to see more of on Super Bowl Sunday. If this isn't proof that the man can literally say anything and make us stop in our tracks, nothing is. Watch and try not to smirk, just as Sam is trying so hard not to.
