This is the perfect drink for Christmas! Okay, really anytime, but especially during the holidays.

Try adding some green sugar to the rim of the glass and make it really festive looking!

Note: This recipe will make 4 martinis.

  • 1 pint of Half and Half
  • 1 bag (10 oz) Andes Creme De Menthe Baking Chips or just the actual candies if you can't find the baking chips
  • 6 ounces of your choice of vodka
  • Chocolate syrup and whipped cream for garnish
  • Green sugar
  1. In a medium saucepan, heat the heavy cream until barely boiling. As soon as you start to see bubbles, take off of heat and add the baking chips. Stir until the chocolate is fully melted. Set aside or place in fridge until cooled.
  2. Take martini glasses and dip the rim into some chocolate syrup and then into the green sugar.
  3. In a shaker, combine ¼ of the chocolate mixture, 1.5 ounces of the vodka, and ice. Shake to mix and to cool. Pour into a martini glass.
  4. Repeat three more times, using all of the chocolate mixture.
  5. Garnish with whipped cream.

* You can easily make your own green sugar. Just put some sugar in a container with a lid. Add a few drops food coloring, shake until even.
