Police Investigate Multi-Vehicle Crash at Vestal School Entrance

A truck and at least two other vehicles were involved in a collision at the drive-way entrance to a school in Vestal.

The crash happened on Ross Hill Road just before 8 a.m. Wednesday.

A northbound truck apparently rear-ended a vehicle that was stopped to turn into the parking lot of Ross Corners Christian Academy. The vehicle that was struck then hit a southbound vehicle.

The crash scene was just south of Owego Road in the western portion of the town of Vestal, a short distance from the Tioga County line.

School administrator Jennifer Chase said three children were in one vehicle and two children were in another vehicle. She said there appeared to have been no injuries, although emergency squad crews were evaluating those involved.
