Penguin Bowl To Support Ross Park Zoo’s COVID Relief Efforts
When you think about the Big Game in three weeks, what do you think about? Do you cheer for your favorite team? Maybe you're looking to put a wager down on a For-Entertainment-Purposes-Only bet? For my daughter, Tara, it's the Kitten Bowl on the Hallmark Channel and the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet.
If your like my daughter and the game makes you think about animals then Binghamton's Ross Park Zoo has something for you. For the fourth year, it's the annual Penguin Bowl with the African Penguins from the zoo.
They will be competing to raise awareness for endangered species and in support of the Ross Park Zoo's COVID relief efforts. The zoo is dedicated to promoting awareness of the natural world through education, conservation, and community engagement.
Penguin Bowl IV is on Sunday, February 7th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. You'll be able to see the penguin post-game rundown after that "other" game on Sunday evening at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay.
Good luck to all the competitors where the real winners are the animals and the zoo's COVID relief efforts. You can keep up with all the pregame action now for Penguin Bowl IV at America's 5th Oldest zoo here.
Here's another great thing, 100% of your donation goes directly to the nonprofit, so don't miss out on this exciting event. You can support the players here
