The current mayor of Binghamton had an opportunity to pose for a photo at City Hall with his three predecessors.

Mayor Richard David on Friday met former mayor Juanita Crabb for the first time. Crabb was in town to be honored as she was inducted into the Binghamton Baseball Shrine for her work in making the downtown stadium a reality.

David, Crabb and former mayors Richard Bucci and Matthew Ryan spent some time together chatting about the city's past, present and future.

Crabb has lived in the Washington, DC area in recent years. Although she occasionally visits Binghamton, this was the first time all four living mayors have been together.

Speaking on WNBF's Binghamton Now program, David said he and the former mayors spent at least an hour discussing "some of the opportunities and challenges" each had faced while in office.

Crabb was mayor from 1982 to 1993; Bucci served from 1994 to 2005; and Ryan was mayor from 2006 to 2013. David took office in January 2014.
