Chenango County man is expected to live the rest of his days in prison after being sentenced for raping and killing an 11 year old girl in July, 2017 in a home he shared with his partner.

Tobias Runstrom-Wooding was sentenced August 13 to 20 years to life in prison for killing 11 year old Jacelyn O’Connor.  His partner, James Brower is expected to stand trial in January.

The then 34 year old Runstrom-Wooding entered into a plea deal in June admitting to acting with his 36 year old partner to rape and kill the child in their Norwich mobile home.

Police found the girl’s body when they got a call about an unresponsive child.

Rumstrom-Wooding offered no comment during sentencing.
