A Windsor woman is accused of driving with a blood alcohol level at more than twice the legal limit while New York State Police say a Cortland County man is accused of being four times over the legal limit.

Troopers say they arrested 44 year old Lynn Shearer at 11:11 p.m. October 10 after receiving a report of a vehicle in a ditch on Morgan Road on the South Side of Binghamton.

Authorities say they measured Shearer’s blood alcohol content at .19% and charged her with aggravated driving while intoxicated.

Also October 10, troopers say they stopped 38 year old Matthew Shimer of Cortlandville at 10:06 a.m. after getting reports of a vehicle that was unable to maintain its lane traveling north on Interstate 81, coming to complete stops on the interstate and then speeding up.

Officials say they charged Shimer with aggravated driving while intoxicated after measuring his blood alcohol level at .29%.
