I remember what it was like to be a new mom and unable to produce the milk my baby needed and to have to fortify him with formula. I remember the frustration at how expensive the formula was and marveled at how much my son could suck down, especially when he was growing. However, I wasn't trying to feed my baby during a formula shortage when finding formula was next to impossible.
