New Year’s Eve Date Night In Ideas

New Year's Eve is my favorite night of the year, and having someone to kiss at midnight is the best part for me. Bustle came up with some fun New Year's Eve ideas for you and your partner if you want to stay in to ring in the New Year together.

• Celebrate the countdowns all around the world which will mean that you need to buy quite a few bottles of champagne, but that's the fun of it! "Midnight" will happen once an hour instead of just once!
• Invite friends over for a potluck if you have other friends that don't like going downtown and blowing their paychecks at the bar. They bring the food, you provide the champagne! It is more a low-key way to celebrate, but that could be a good way to set the tone for 2019.
• Get your favorite restaurant food... to go because most places are going to be packed for the New Year especially any restaurant downtown, so order ahead and get your fancy dinner to go. Nothing is more satisfying than eating an expensive dinner in your pajamas, trust me on that one!

Staying in for New Year's Eve will assure that you don't drink and drive, you don't freeze to death watching the ball drop, and you can go to bed as soon as the clock hits 12:01am if you want to!
