Is MTV’s ‘Teen Wolf’ About to Take a Bite out of the Big Screen?
Ready to take another bite out of Beacon Hills? One Teen Wolf star says the MTV series — which aired its final episode in September 2017 — might be close to a revival.
During a talk with PeopleTV’s Chatter, Tyler Posey said the Jeff Davis-created series, which premiered in 2011, will get the gang back together for a reunion on the big screen, if Posey has his way.
“For Teen Wolf, that’s what I’ve said since the beginning of that show. I’ve always wanted to do that. So, I’m all for it,” Posey said.
And if the cast's enduring bonds are any indication, getting the team back together won't be terribly difficult — they're all still pals.
“Absolutely, Dylan O’Brien is still one of my best friends,” Posey said. “We actually went to Comic-Con last weekend with each other. It was our first time we went without any obligations because Teen Wolf is over, so we didn’t have anything to promote...And, we went and partied and danced all night until five in the morning.”
“I love the cast of Teen Wolf, and I try to keep in touch with them as much as possible. Dylan and I see each other all the time,” Posey added.
Teen Wolf was a ratings boost for MTV upon its first episode's airing, and helped to engineer a new wave of scripted series for the network. At its Season 3 peak, the show drew more than two million viewers per episode.
