Motorists Alarmed on I88 in Bainbridge

New York State Police say a Franklin man is accused of flashing what looked like a gun while driving on Interstate 88 with a child in the car.

Troopers say 35 year old Richard Viti Junior was pulled over January 14 after other motorists reported a driver waving a gun while driving recklessly on the Interstate westbound in Bainbridge.

The suspected weapon was an air-soft gun.

Viti is charged with menacing and endangering the welfare of a child.
