Louie G’s Thirsty Thursday About Disneyland

Today is Thirsty Thursday and it's my job to quench your thirst for obscure knowledge.

If you've been listening this week, we have been giving away tickets for Disney Live coming to the Floyd L. Maines Arena in Binghamton on August 29th. While searching the web for some interesting things about Disney I found this tidbit.

Did you know that since they opened their doors Disneyland has only closed THREE times?

1. The national day of mourning for JFK
2. After the earthquake in Northridge, California in 1994
3. September 11th, 2001

I thought that was very interesting, but there are a ton more interesting things that many of us probably didn't know. Like, there is a secret club for special guests and celebrities in the park. There is also a flight restriction over the park.

Many celebrities have also worked at Disneyland including Steve Martin and Michelle Pfeiffer.
