ICYMI: Liam Payne Brings the Soul With ‘Strip That Down’ on ‘Late Late Show’
Former One Direction member Liam Payne certainly managed to bring "down" the house last night.
Payne stopped by The Late Late Show With James Corden on Wednesday (September 6) to perform his debut single, "Strip That Down." Set against a dark backdrop, his sensual performance quickly won over the audience.
Payne wasn't all business during his time on the show, though. He also talked to Corden about his new baby boy, who he had with British pop star and former Girls Aloud member Cheryl Cole. Specifically, he shed some light on why they named the tot Bear—and not a more common name like James, like the host, or guests James Van Der Beek and Jim Gaffigan (yes, it was a stage full of Jameses).
Meanwhile, The Tonight Show officially said goodbye to summer with the appropriately named sketch "Pros and Cons: The End of Summer 2017." It started off with a good joke about the all-everywhere smash "Despacito," and only got better from there. Take a look:
