Olmec is being dusted off for the new reboot of the classic 1990s Nickelodeon game show, "Legends of the Hidden Temple", but this time, there's a twist.

According to Buzzfeed, the reboot will not be on Nickelodeon, but will be streamed exclusively on the brand-new streaming service Quibi.

The main difference this time, according to the article, is that A) The show not be a studio like the original, but instead take place in an actual jungle, and B) Will have adults as contestants instead of kids.

This means that the challenges will be more difficult overall, and there will also be greater prizes.

Some of the staples of the original show will be returning though, such as the Moat Crossing, the Temple Run, and the big talking head, Olmec.

My main question is will these contestants be better at putting together that monkey statue during the Temple Run? Even as a kid, I would yell at the TV because those stupid kids just could not figure out how to put those pieces together...

There is no premiere date announced yet. Quibi begins its streaming service on April 6, 2020.
