The Young Wonders Early Childhood Center is dedicated to providing a loving, caring, and learning environment where families, children, and staff are treated with respect and given the attention they deserve. The center recognizes that families are the foremost experts on their children and aims to collaborate with them in providing the best care possible. Teacher Supplies

Young Wonders Early Childhood Center at YWCA of Binghamton is specifically in need of teacher supplies such as pens, masking tape, colored masking tape, packing tape, painters tape, Sharpie markers, dry erase markers, adult scissors, hot glue gun sticks (skinny), post-it notes, rubber bands, and paper clips.

Child Art Supplies

In addition to teacher supplies, they also need child art supplies like glue sticks, bottles of school glue (white or clear), construction paper, contact paper rolls, butcher paper, washable markers, gel pens, washable stamp pads, sidewalk chalk or sidewalk paint, foam paper, felt sheets, child scissors, child paintbrushes, watercolors-washable, washable tempera paint, sequins or gems, feathers, colored sand, popsicle sticks, clothespins, cotton balls, q-tips, toothpicks, pipe cleaners, coffee filters, and play-doh.

Sensory and Play Supplies

For sensory and play activities, the center is looking for bubble play items (bubble solution, accessories), bags/boxes of rice, bags/boxes of beans, bags/boxes of pasta (macaroni), flour, bags of soil, bags of sand, and ice cube trays.

General Center Supplies

Additionally, they are looking for general center supplies such as tissues, child toothpaste, child toothbrush, Desitin, A&D Ointment, baby wipes (fragrance-free), AA batteries, and AAA batteries.

First Aid Supplies

First aid supplies including band-aids, alcohol wipes, reusable and one-time use ice packs, gauze rolls, and gauze pads are also needed.

Cleaning Supplies

Cleaning supplies are also needed such as liquid dish soap (not dishwasher detergent), Windex, sponges, spray bottles, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, and Goo Gone.

Impact of Donations: Support the Growth and Development of Young Children

By contributing to the Young Wonders Early Childhood Center, the community can play an active role in supporting the growth and development of young children. These supplies will directly impact the daily experiences of the children and help create an enriching educational environment.
