New York ‘Sock Out Cancer’ Concert With Kansas and Boston Singers
Everyone has been affected by cancer in one way or another. It could be a friend, relative, spouse or YOU. We do what we can by saying prayers and offering good thoughts. Here is another thing that you can do to help.
You can "rock out" while helping to sock out cancer. It's the Sock Out Cancer benefit concert to support local cancer patients and their families. This year, it'll feature the voices of John Elefante (former vocalist from Kansas), and Fran Cosmo (former vocalist from Boston).
It's two nights of rocking out on Friday, October 20th at the Broome County Forum Theatre and Saturday, October 21st at the Landmark Theatre in Syracuse. Showtimes for both concerts are at 8 pm.
100% of the net proceeds will benefit cancer patients from Lourdes, UHS and Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital. Sock Out Cancer truly makes a difference in the lives of local cancer patients and their families.
What is "Sock Out Cancer"
Sock Out Cancer helps ease the financial burden for families of those undergoing cancer care by helping to pay rent or offer mortgage assistance. The program also helps with utility bills, gift cards for gas and grocery stores, and any other financial assistance that might be needed.
So when you go to either of the concerts, you are encouraged to wear these awesome socks or buy them there and help out this worthy cause. Support local cancer patients and their families while enjoying a night of memorable entertainment!
You can get your tickets at sockoutcancer.org or at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena.
