A Local Cortland Hero

Pitcher was born in Cortland, NY on January 13th, 1987. He played as the QB for SUNY Cortland from 2008 to 2011. After that, he graduated from Cortland State with a bachelor's degree in psychology in 2010 and then went on to earn a master's degree in sport management in 2011.

Once Pitcher's playing days were over, he worked as an assistant coach at Cortland for a year before making a move to the big leagues. He took on roles as a Scouting Assistant and later as a Pro Scout for the Indianapolis Colts from 2012 to 2015.

Pitcher's journey to becoming the Offensive Coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals has been a long one. He joined the Bengals organization in 2016 as an offensive assistant. Pitcher played a major part in Joe Burrow's success by helping him achieve one of the most impressive starts to a QB career in NFL history.
