Nationally Recognized Broome Tioga Sports Center Put Up for Sale
From motocross, mud bogs, ATV's, UTV's, hare scrambles, demolition derbies, supercross, autocross and more, for 40 years, the Broome Tioga Sports Center has entertained the Southern Tier, but those days could be coming to an end.

In a post on the Broome Tioga Sports Center Facebook page, Tom Hurd and his family have listed the property and business for sale as they're looking to retire.
The Broome Tioga Sports Center, which has been featured on national television for its motocross, consists of 198 acres that the owners may be willing to subdivide into two or more smaller parcels. On the grounds is a 4,600 square foot home, plenty big enough as it has five bedrooms and a three-car garage. There is also a barn with a motorcycle garage.
A three-story sign welcomes visitors and the Broome Tioga Sports Center is equipped with an announcer’s booth, PA system, and a hospitality tower on the infield. Also included in the sale is a bar/restaurant and bathroom facilities.
The deal just keeps getting even sweeter for anyone considering buying the business as the property comes complete with a national motocross track, two hares scramble tracks, a concrete starting gate with hydraulic lift, a mud bog and mud racing facility with concessions, bleacher seating, and more.
Virtually anything a person could want to keep racing alive comes with the property and business which is located at 50 Shaffer Road in Richford, and which already has events lined up for the next few months.
The Hurd family is asking $1,300,000.00 for the property and everything on it and may consider owner financing to qualified buyers.
